Deezer raises 2026 outlook as direct subscriptions lift third-quarter revenue
Revenue from subscriptions sold directly to consumers rose 7.0% to €94.1 million, while revenue from partnerships with telecom companies and other distributors fell 6.2%, Deezer said. Direct subscribers grew 5.7% to 5.8 million, but total subscribers fell 3.2% to 8.7 million, Music Business Worldwide reported.
Deezer previously guided for positive adjusted EBITDA for the year. The company also said it expects to launch a user setting for AI-generated music before the end of the year.
Why it matters: Deezer is one of the few listed music streaming services, and its results show smaller platforms leaning on direct subscribers as partner revenue declines.
